This project reflects my long-standing fascination with old photo albums. As a storage of visual memories they can be seen from different perspectives. I am particularly interested in how the viewer interacts with the singular image and also, with the sequences of images he/she is looking at. In trying to read and decode the meaning of somebodies personal memories one creates their own narratives where space for imagination is unlimited. When you’ve turned all pages and closed the cover what remain is the intangible layered impression, the mystery of narrator and spectator’s merging realities.
